YOUTH REVISITED

Here I am,
Back again.
Could still feel the thrill,
Seems like yesterday;
The picture still remains.

‘Tis the place,
Where my youth I spent;
Where my youth I spoiled,
Till now I could not mend.

Young and old alike,
Gathered to mend our wasted youth;
Expressions we change,
Hearts, we keep our own.

Woe is me – I pitied,
Guilty, I feel too.
Now, to be back again,
And realize my life;
Is wasted so long.
