A LITTLE GIRL (a sudden pang of joy)

Today, I saw a little girl,
Waiting for her school bus;
Down by the road,
Up from our terrace.

She was standing all alone,
With her green skirt;
A stripe scarf on her head,
And with a puffed pink pag.

She wore an earring,
Which swing dazzling around;
When she count her fingers,
And shake her head.

She was singing her heart,
The world around her;
Looks so beautiful and true,
And she was smiling too.

She makes me wanna sing,
For this brand new day;
And wish more for nothing,
If life’s going her way.
