Zan mu chhin theih lohin,
Ka pan fo ţhin he hmun nuam hi ;
Mahse ka hringnun chuan,
'Duhthu i sam', min ti si.

Cham hlen ka nuam e he ramah hian,
Hmangaihnain ro a rel si ;
Khuanu'n a duan luahloh ram hi,
Hun chhuah theih chang mawlh si lo.

Thanks to thee O! Mother Earth,
For giving me the humble chance to feel ;
The joy and the pain the Angels longed to feel.

For all the beauty of this earth,
The morning dew, the pouring rain ;
The blessings you bestowed upon us from our birth.
